Kat comes from a long line of restaurant owners. Her great uncle, grandad, dad, and brother have all kept their family restaurants going for more than 50 years. She started working in her dad's restaurant at the age of fourteen. She fell in love with the assembly line and creating a product from start to finish. She worked there through high school. Kat graduated from Auburn University in Communications with a minor in religion and headed back home to work for the family business before jumping into retail, enjoying a fast pace and busy work environment.

She has always loved art and being creative. When introduced to royal icing in 2016 her love of food and art came together to create beautiful edible works of art that help create meaningful events.

Kat is married to her college sweetheart. She loves to bake and Hank loves to cook. Together they have two adventurous boys. They love spending time outdoors and staying active.
